Course Objectives
- Participants will be able to identify the various technologies employed by batterers and stalkers as well as the various techniques to control, harass and intimidate their victims.
- Participants will be able to understand and appreciate the prevalence of stalking behaviors using technology.
- Participants will be able to appreciate the difference, in general, between male victims of stalking and female victims of stalking.
- Participants will gain insight into the effects of technological stalking on victims.
- Participants will learn some practical advice for victims and potential victims to avoid or minimize the ability of stalkers and batterers to use technology to control, harass, and intimidate their victims.
